Procedures

Drs. Coleman & Muldoon perform a variety of oral surgical procedures on an outpatient basis in the office, where patients receive expert surgical care in comfortable, relaxed surroundings. Procedures that require more extensive surgical care are performed at Carolinas Medical Center-University or Northcross Surgical Center. 

The following procedures are performed on an ongoing basis:

• Dentoalveolar surgery (surgery of teeth and surrounding bone and soft tissue)
• Removal of teeth for preventative and orthodontic purposes
• Biopsy and removal of lesions of the mouth and jaws
• Dental implants
• Orthognathic surgery
• Reconstructive surgery of the jaw
• Treatment of facial trauma
• Treatment of dental infections
• Preparation of the mouth for dental prostheses (dentures)
